The Plume Review

  • Duane Park 308 Bowery New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

Join us every Friday night to experience
an incomparable evening of smoking hot jazz and sultry burlesque.

Take a step out of New York City’s hustle and bustle as you walk into Duane Park’s elegant turn of the century dining room. A sly entrance on the Bowery travels you back in time as cocktails are handcrafted, a menu with seasonal southern twist cuisine awaits you, live jazz fills the room, and then the spotlight hits as our Master of Ceremony takes the floor. Whether its Seattle-born viper jazz-inspired powerhouse crooner Cunio, tap dancing troubadour Aaron Marcellus or the sexiest siren of them all, Ms. Sophia Urista, you are left in the best of company as they wail the songs from the past 7 decades, from the American Songbook to Billboards current chart toppers.
But a night at Duane Park would not be complete until the tassels twirl and the girls shake all they’ve got. New York’s finest in burlesque, like Amber Ray, Medianoche, Jo Boobs, Peekaboo Pointe, Main Attraction, Harvest Moon, Gal Friday and Essence Revealedare the only beauties you will see on our stage.
The house band features a bevy of young New York talent with Tatum Greenblatt on trumpet, Jesse Elder on piano, Steve Whipple on bass and Alex Wyatt on drums.
Duane Park promises a night unlike any other in New York City.
